  • It could be tight this weekend at Imola with the peloton still grouped together in Formula 2. These are only tests but the times were relatively close this Friday morning at Imola where Paul Aron (Hitech GP) dominated the proceedings.
  • The Estonian, with 15 laps to his name, clocked 1'28"852 ahead of Gabriel Bortoleto (Invicta) and championship leader Zane Maloney (Rodin Motorsport) by less than a tenth.
  • On the French side, Isack Hadjar (Campos) was the best representative with the 4e time just over two tenths behind Paul Aron. Victor Martins (ART Grand Prix) finished the session in 13the place with a best lap in 1'29"620.
  • Note that a red flag was waved 5 minutes from the checkerboard after Ollie Bearman (Prema) went off the track at the Tamburello chicane. The Englishman lost control of his car and hit the front protections damaging the front. The session was then not restarted. He must now participate in EL1 of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix in F1 with Haas (13:30 p.m.).
