The new kids are long overdue. The Kiro Race Co stable, which bought the former Chinese team ERT last October, has still not announced its two starting drivers for Season 11 of Formula 1, which begins on December 6 in São Paulo (Brazil). However, we have a first indication of the crew that should be aligned in 2024-2025… thanks to the pre-season tests organized in Jarama, from this Tuesday until November 8.
The new American team has revealed the two drivers who will take part in its tests in Madrid: unsurprisingly, Dan Ticktum has been retained despite the takeover of ERT and will continue the adventure with Kiro Race Co during Season 11. On the other hand, his teammate is a little more surprising. While we could have expected Sergio Sette Camara to also be kept, it is David Beckmann who will line up at Jarama for the pre-season tests.

A surprise… yes and no. David Beckmann is no stranger to the electric championship since he was a reserve driver for Andretti during Season 9 and then for Porsche during the last campaign. That's good: Kiro Race Co will use a Porsche powertrain, with last season's specification. The German driver even contested two E-Prix in Jakarta (Indonesia) in 2023, replacing André Lotterer at Andretti (a 16th place and a retirement). And if the pre-season tests go well with the new American team, there is no reason why David Beckmann should not be a regular alongside Dan Ticktum this season...
