Lola Yamaha retains its pilot duo

For its second season in Formula E, the Lola Yamaha ABT team will therefore continue to rely on the same duo, composed of the young Zane Maloney and the champion of Season 3, Lucas di Grassi. The team scored 32 points for its first campaign in the discipline, including a podium for di Grassi at the Miami round, contested at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.

“I am delighted to confirm my participation in a second season with Lola Yamaha ABT in Formula E.”, says di Grassi. "Our first season was very positive, with a podium finish in Miami and 32 points scored. We worked very hard this summer and strengthened the team so that our second season will be even better."

For his part, Maloney made the switch to Formula E during the previous season, having previously competed in F2, with dreams of Formula 1. “I am very happy to continue with Lola Yamaha ABT for season 12”, adds Maloney. “Last year was my first season and the team's first, and I think we made great progress. I'm looking forward to working with Lucas and the whole team to continue that progress next season.”

The twelfth season in the history of Formula E will begin on December 6th, in the streets of São Paulo, Brazil.
