  • Yani Stevenheydens must surely be biting his fingers. Starting in pole position, the Belgian held his position perfectly, resisting the attacks of Jules Caranta, who temporarily passed in front in the first before seeing his rival regain his right.
  • From then on, the championship leader managed his race perfectly, distancing himself from his runner-up on whom he counted on more than a second in advance. Unfortunately, the intervention of the safety car 10 minutes from the end after a pile-up at the back of the peloton completely reshuffled the cards.
  • Under threat from Jules Caranta at the restart, Yani Stevenheydens was surprised approaching the Nürburgring corner, handing over the lead in Race 1, this time for good. The Belgian tried as best he could to come back but his counterpart showed strength to resist in turn. Taito Kato completed the podium ahead of Augustin Bernier and Montego Maassen.
  • In the championship, Jules Caranta takes 7 points from Yani Stevenheydens who pocketed the fastest lap in the race. Only two lengths separate them.
