On the eve of post-season testing in Formula 2, the announcements keep coming! It is now PREMA's turn to make its second driver official for the 2025 season, to support Gabriele Mini. The choice fell on Sebastian Montoya, son of the former driver of Formula 1 Juan Pablo Montoya. The Colombian is coming off a mixed season in Formula 3, with a 17th place in the championship and a podium at Spa-Francorchamps, in the Main Race. The 19-year-old driver is also a protégé of the Red Bull.

“I am very happy to join PREMA for the 2025 Formula 2 season. It is the first team I have worked with and so it is very interesting to see how it has evolved, says Sebastian Montoya. They are one of the best teams in the world's promotional formulas right now. I am delighted to be joining forces with them again and can't wait to get started."
