Reshad de Gerus enters the final hour of the 4 Hours of Barcelona in the lead, benefiting from the pit stop of the #22 United Autosports car moments earlier. The French driver, who took over at the start of the third hour, will finish the job for the car that started from pole position, as he shares it only with Bijoy Garg, with no third driver.

Leading before its final pit stop, the #29 Forestier Racing by Panis car has now dropped to fifth place after serving two ten-second penalties during the same stop. In LMP2 Pro/Am, Algarve Pro Racing temporarily took the lead, benefiting from a slightly different strategy, with three VSC and FCY cars overtaking them in the third hour of the race. For Spike the Dragon, the #99 AO by TF car, hopes of a good result vanished just after the halfway point following contact and a stop in the gravel.

The battle is now raging in LMP3 between the #11 EuroInternational and the #85 R-Ace GP, which dominated the early stages of the race. Mercedes Benz #62 of Team Qatar by Iron Lynx continues to lead in LMGT3.
