4H of Sepang – EL2: AF Corse ahead of DKR Engineering

The European season Le Mans Series kicks off this weekend with a double-header in Sepang, Malaysia. After Algarve Pro Racing in Free Practice 1, it was the AF Corse team of the trio François Perrodo, Alessio Rovera, Matthieu Vaxiviere who set the benchmark time in Free Practice 2 with a 1:52.924. DKR Engineering (Giorgios Kolovos, Laurents Hörr, Job van Uitert) came in second, 0.125 seconds behind, while Nielsen Racing (Naveen Rao, Matt Bell, Nicky Castburg) completed the podium, 0.497 seconds behind.

In LM P3, the Ligier JS P320 n°34 of Inter Europol Competition set the reference time in 2:03.051. In GT, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO n°81 from Winward Racing in which we find Jules Gounon set the best time in 2:05.285.
