4H Dubai – EL1: Best time for Proton Competition

The third round of the 2023-2024 Asian season Le Mans Series takes place this weekend in Dubai. Giorgio Roda was the fastest in Free Practice 1 this Friday at the wheel of the No. 07 Proton Competition Oreca 22 with a best lap of 1:49.386.

He beat Will Stevens, who replaces Ferdinand Habsburg this weekend (the Austrian is testing with Alpine), of 0.376 seconds. Colin Braun placed Crowdstrike Racing by APR in third, 0.598 seconds behind.

Frenchman Fabien Lavergne was the fastest in the LM P3 at the wheel of the #320 CD Sport Ligier JS P2 – Nissan.

In GT, it was Davide Rigon who set the reference time with the Ferrari 296 GT3 n°21 of AF Corse.
