The 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps will be the fourth meeting of the 2024 European season Le Mans Series. For this round, the starting grid will once again be made up of 22 LM P2 cars (including 8 in LM P2 Pro-Am), 10 in LM P3 and 11 in LMGT3. 128 pilots will represent 32 nations.

The Inter Europol Competition team will be at the top of the championship with its trio formed by Sebastian Alvarez, Vlad Lomko and Tom Dillmann. Finally victorious at the 4 Hours of Imola after having been disqualified for a while, the Panis Racing team of Manuel Maldonado, Charles Milesi and Arthur Leclerc moved up to second place in the standings with 40 points, that is to say five small units behind the Polish team.

In LM P2 Pro-Am, it is the trio formed by Grégoire Saucy, Mathias Beche and Rodrigo Sales who leads the category with 58 points, three very small units ahead of Alessio Rovera, François Perrodo and Matthieu Vaxiviere for AF Corse.

Driver changes will take place in this class for Spa-Francorchamps due to the VIR round in IMSA the same weekend. Oliver Jarvis will be replaced by Filipe Albuquerque in the No. 21 United Autosports Oreca while BMW driver Nick Yelloly will replace Albert Costa at Nielsen Racing. Although he is not included in the entry list, the European Le Mans Series informs that Tristan Vautier will be associated with Anthony Wells and Wayne Boyd in the No. 19 Oreca of Team Virage.

In LM P3, Louis Red will be lined up at Ultimate alongside brothers Jean-Baptiste and Matthieu Lahaye.

Note that the only Belgian at the start of the event will be Sarah Bovy among the Iron Ladies in LMGT3.
