Leon Price, sporting director of Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA, after Free Practice 1 (No. 12, 4th at 0.444s and No. 38, 14th at 1.352s): “Overall, it was a positive session. At this stage, it’s really important for us to get in a good run of laps, as we haven’t had much track time due to disruptions in the testing program. So it’s essential that the drivers accumulate laps.”

“We completed a total of 75 laps with both cars during FP1, so I think we can be quite satisfied with that, and there’s a lot of data to analyze to try and improve. Naturally, we have some adjustments to make to the cars before FP2 to fine-tune them and get the most out of them. Overall, I think the drivers are quite happy with this session. Not a bad start!”
