Lilou Wadoux will compete in the Rookie Test with Ferrari

It was expected, and now it's official: Lilou Wadoux will compete in her third Hypercar race. The first woman to drive in the top category of the... WEC with Toyota At the end of 2022, the Frenchwoman followed up the next season with a second test, this time in a Ferrari.

Now partnered with the Maranello-based manufacturer, with whom she usually races in GT3, Lilou Wadoux will return to the wheel of a Hypercar in Bahrain for the traditional end-of-season test. She will be driving the #51 car alongside Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi.

Her former LMGT3 teammate, Alessio Rovera, with whom she won the 6 Hours of Spa in 2023, will be driving the #83 AF Corse 499P. The Italian, a Ferrari factory driver since 2022, participated in the prototype's development before its competitive debut in March 2023.

He will be at the start of the 8 Hours of Bahrain with the AF Corse Ferrari 296 LMGT3 #21, alongside François Hériau and Simon Mann. Hériau will also participate in the Rookie Test on Sunday, with the Porsche 911 GT3 R #92 of Manthey 1st Phorm. He will be accompanied by the Austrian Richard Lietz.
