Porsche has indeed decided to stop its efforts in the Hypercar category of the World ChampionshipEndurance in 2026, but the German manufacturer will still be very present on the Endurance scene in 2026. In IMSA notably where, in addition to the 963s in the GTP category, two 911 GT3 Rs will be lined up during the Endurance Cup rounds by Manthey.
The famous German team, recently crowned in DTM via the Turkish Ayhancan Güven. The legendary Grello livery will be part of the GTD Pro category with the No. 911 and it will be accompanied by the No. 912 of 1st Phorm, entered this year in WEC and victorious in the LMGT3 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which will race in GTD. The only confirmed driver so far is Ryan Hardwick in this second car.

The 2026 IMSA season will kick off with the 24 Hours of Daytona on January 24-25, 2026.
