The strong image of this second hour of racing at Petit Le Mans intervened in its last ten minutes. The Mercedes The No. 80 car, driven by Lin Hodenius, came to a stop after losing a wheel while exiting the pits. Race leader Tom Blomqvist had a close call, as the loose wheel nearly collided with his Acura ARX-06, which is still leading the race.
While the No. 60 has been unfazed since the start of the event, the No. 93 driven by Nick Yelloly is the first GTP to encounter problems during this final with a recalcitrant gearbox.
The No. 43 Inter Europol Competition Oreca, in which Tom Dillmann is entered, still leads the LMP2. In GTD Pro, it is the Porsche No. 77 Rexy in a special Halloween livery which dominates the ranking, while the Ferrari 296 GT3 No. 21 by Simon Mann, Alessandro Pier Guidi and Lilou Wadoux is in first place in the GTD.
