A few weeks before the 24 Hours of Daytona, the opening round of the 2025 season...IMSA Scheduled for January 22-25, 2026, the Florida-based Rennsport One (RS1) team – reigning champion of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge GS class – has unveiled the driver lineup that will be at the wheel of its Porsche 911 GT3 R. The No. 28, entered in the GTD category, where 19 vehicles will compete, will be driven by Jan Heylen, Eric Zitza, Sven Müller and Dillon Machavern.
As previously announced, Belgian driver Jan Heylen, winner of the 2022 Daytona 24 Hours in GTD, played a significant role in the RS1's championship victory last season. He will be joined by a newcomer in EnduranceEric Zitza will represent the American team.
An experienced crew
RS1 has also strengthened its lineup with Porsche factory driver Sven Müller, who will share the wheel of the No. 28 car for his first start in this format since 2021. The German is also coming off a GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup title, won with Rutronik Racing.
Finally, Dillon Machavern, the 2017 Michelin Pilot Challenge champion, completes the driver lineup, having previously worked with Turner Motorsport in the same series. For the first time in its history, the RS1 will contest all five rounds of the Michelin Endurance Cup this year.
