As every year, the main race supporting the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2025 will be Road To Le Mans. The flagship event of the Michelin Le Mans Cup, it will be held as a curtain-raiser to the classic Sarthe race, with two races scheduled this year lasting 60 minutes, compared to 55 since 2016. This will be the first edition contested with the new generation of LM P3 prototypes, divided between Adess, Ginetta, Duqueine and Ligier.

58 cars are entered for these third and fourth rounds of the Michelin Le Mans Cup season. For the first time, they will be divided into three classes: 24 in LM P3, 19 in LM P3 Pro-Am, and 15 in LMGT3. Several drivers who have already shone at the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be at the start, starting with Jakub Śmiechowski, winner in LM P2 in 2023 with Inter Europol Competition. The Pole will once again defend the colors of Inter Europol at the wheel of a Ligier JS P325. Vincent Abril, poleman in LMGT3 in 2022, will be entered in the Ferrari 296 GT3 n°52 of AF Corse.

Samantha Tan will make her debut on the Sarthe circuit in this same LMGT3 category. Present in the paddock in 2024, the Canadian will discover the legendary circuit this year at the wheel of a BMW M4 GT3, entered by Team WRT, alongside Gustav Bergström. A BMW ambassador in North America, she harbors the ambition of one day participating in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

At 27, she will be one of four women competing in this event. Participants in the full Michelin Le Mans Cup season, Léna Bühler (Ligier JS P325 n°50 – 23Events Racing), as well as Iron Dames Vanina Ickx and Marta García (Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) n°83), will also be there.
