Neel Jani went off the track at turn 5. While he had just achieved the best time in this 25-minute warm-up, the Swiss lost control of his prototype and damaged the front of the car operated by Proton Competition in the safety rail while he was crossed paths with Sébastien’s No. 01 Cadillac V-Series.R Bourdais who was on a lap coming out of the pits. Despite this damage, Jani was able to bring the car back to the pits. The prototype was taken behind the wall to be repaired, but will it be able to start qualifying for the 24 Hours of Daytona? The GTP session begins at 20:45 p.m. (French time).

Sébastien Bourdais set the best time of this session in 1:33.263.
