At 29, Antonio Fuoco is the pride of a part of Italy passionate about motorsport. Second in the WEC in 2024, third this year at the wheel of the Classic Ferrari for sale Number 50 shared with Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen, the Italian was back this Saturday in his native region of Calabria to carry the Olympic flame.
Winner of 24H of Le Mans Last year, the Italian had a less successful season. However, he still maintained some of his usual high standards, notably winning the opening race of the 2025 WEC season in Qatar. At the end of the year, Antonio Fuoco was also crowned the overall winner of the GT World Cup on the streets of Macau – a first in his already impressive career.

A symbol of success in Italian motorsport, Fuoco was chosen to carry the Olympic flame in preparation for the 2026 Winter Olympics, to be held in Milan and Cortina. Along the Catanzaro seafront, he carried the flame, while other prominent figures such as Robert Pirès, Vincenzo Nibali, and Daniele Garozzo also participated in the torch relay in recent days.
