A rank reinforced by the arrival of two official drivers Porsche to finish the season in IMSA.

Michael Christensen will compete in the "Battle of the Bricks" at the Indianapolis circuit (September 20-22) and the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta (October 9-12) alongside the regular driver for the season, Laurin Heinrich. The Dane has already competed in the first two rounds ofEndurance Cup with AO Racing, namely the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 hours from Sebring at the beginning of the year. “I am very much looking forward to being back with AO Racing and Rexy. The team has performed excellently throughout the season and is in a great position at the top of the championship! I will do my best to maintain and strengthen this position until the final round at Petit Le Mans.”

The duo will become a trio for Petit Le Mans as Julien Andlauer will support Michael Christensen and Laurin Heinrich at Road Atlanta for the final round of IMSA. The Frenchman, a Proton Competition driver in WEC in the Hypercar category, has already driven with Rexy at Road America at the beginning of August (4th in the GTD Pro category) replacing Sebastian Priaulx.

“I’m looking forward to getting back together with the team. We had a tough but successful weekend at Road America, which was better than expected before the event, underlines the Lyonnais. I hope we have better potential for the last two rounds. Teaming up with Laurin and Michael, we will have a very strong crew. I am looking forward to working properly and giving our best in order to get the best possible result and win the championship for the team and Laurin.
