Romain Dumas has his trio for the Asian Le Mans Series. The Gardois team has thus set its sights on James Allen to complete a crew already composed of Tristan Vautier and Fred Poordad. The 28-year-old Australian has been a sure bet in LM P2 in recent seasons since he notably won the European Le Mans title in 2023, the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2022 and 2023 in LM P2 Pro-Am as well as the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2023 in the LM P2 category after a photo finish that will remain in the memories.
« I am happy with the crew assembled for the team's debut in LM P2, rejoices Romain Dumas, the Team Principal. Our 3 drivers have experience in the category and have had many successes. They also know each other, which is an important parameter. »
« I am excited to join Fred and Tristan, Allen adds. Romain is a well-known and respected figure in endurance racing, and I was confident that he would assemble a strong group to move forward in the best possible way. »
The Asian Le Mans Series season kicks off on the weekend of December 6-8 with a double-header in Sepang (Malaysia). This will be RD Limited's big debut in LM P2.
