Jamie Chadwick Named Grand Marshal of the 24 Hours of Daytona

Jamie Chadwick will be competing in the 24 Hours of Daytona. The British driver will not be taking part in the Florida classic, but has been named Grand Marshal of the event.

Jamie Chadwick Named Grand Marshal of the 24 Hours of Daytona

Not yet her first participation in the 24 Hours of Daytona, but the 26-year-old driver will be entitled to a great honor during the 63rd edition of the famous American event. The Englishwoman, originally from Bath, has in fact been designated Grand Marshal of the Florida classic as a "Rolex Testimonee", in other words an ambassador for the Swiss brand. She will thus pronounce the phrase " Drivers, start your engines! " before the start of the double clock tower.

As an iconic venue for Rolex and motorsport, I look forward to celebrating its history while enjoying some spectacular racing. I am excited to be involved and hope to one day be part of the competition at Daytona. »

A future participation in the biggest event of the North American championship ofEndurance could be done through Genesis. The South Korean manufacturer is aiming for participation in theIMSA in 2027 and the triple W Series champion (2019, 2021, 2022) has joined its "Trajectory Program". It is within this framework that the British will participate in the European Le Mans Series this year with IDEC Sport.
