Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer new arrival for the final at Duqueine Team
On the occasion of the final two races of the Asian Le Mans 2024 Series organized on the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi (February 10 and 11), the Duqueine Team will welcome a new driver in the Oreca 07 which it will enter in the LM P2 class. This is Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer, replacing the Dane Oliver Rasmussen, held back by other obligations according to Duqueine.
Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer was previously confirmed by the French team for its European Le Mans Series program (ELMS) this season. The young French driver will be associated with John Falb and Carl Bennett.“I am very happy to join the team for this race and to start the season in such good conditions, indicated Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer. This is probably the best way to gain experience with this car before the ELMS starts. »
