As the registration deadline to compete in the 2024/2025 campaign approaches, set for August 30, the entry list welcomes newcomers. The Asian Le Mans Series has thus indicated that three new teams have already announced their intention to be part of kick-off for Sepang for a double-header (December 7-8).
These are Climax Racing, Tsunami RT and Winward Racing. All entered in GT3.
Climax Racing is a Chinese team founded by the driver Zhou Bihuang in 2019, working today on around twenty cars, both in GT3 and GT4, and with brands like Lamborghini, Porsche, Mercedes or even Audi. In the Asian Le Mans Series it will enter two Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVOs. Only Mike Zhou, the owner, has been confirmed as driver.
Tsunami RT is a Ukrainian structure founded in 2007 and initially based in Odessa. From now on, she is on the San Marino side. She will participate with a Porsche 911 GT3 R and will be able to count on a category winner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Fabio Babini in GT in 2001, in her crew.
Finally, Winward Racing is better known internationally with commitments in Europe with DTM or the GT World Challenge, but also appearances in IMSA in the United States. Two Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVOs from the German team are expected.
