One out of two. Fifteen days after publication of the entry list provisional for the 2024 season WEC, TF Sport has confirmed the identity of the three drivers who will take turns aboard the Corvette Z06 GT3.RN°81 next year.
On November 27, only the name of Charlie Eastwood appeared among the crew of the No. 81. From now on, the Irishman knows his two other partners for the entire exercise. They are Rui Andrade and Tom Van Rompuy. For the first, this is a great first since he has until now been driving in a prototype with in fact the 2023 championship title in LMP2 with Team WRT. It will therefore be the discovery of the world of GT3. The second also comes from LMP2. He recently competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and ELMS on the Oreca 07 from DKR Engineering.
