It was expected, it is now official: BMW and Team RLL continue their adventure in IMSA in 2025, for a third consecutive season. The German manufacturer and the American team have confirmed their presence in the GTP category in 2025, again with two BMW M Hybrid V8s with Dallara chassis.

After finishing 6th and 8th in the IMSA championship in the inaugural season of the GTP class in 2023 – with a victory for the #25 BMW at Watkins Glen – the propeller brand is experiencing a complicated season in 2024 with a 7th and 9th place in the standings and without a victory this year. In 2025, the two German machines will keep the numbers 24 and 25. The drivers for the two crews remain to be determined, however.
