Filipe Albuquerque returns to European Le Mans Series. The Portuguese will play the luxury replacement for United Autosports during the next round, the 4H of Spa-Francorchamps (August 25). He will take the wheel in place of Oliver Jarvis, who will contest the same weekend in the round ofIMSA organized at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) with Pfaff Motorsports.

Filipe Albuquerque, who won the European Le Mans Series, the 24 Geures du Mans and the WEC in LM P2 with United Autosports in 2020, will drive the No. 21 Oreca in the LM P2 Pro/Am category, alongside Daniel Schneider and Andy Meyrick. “I am very happy to be back with United Autosports. Just got back from Mosport with them, which was great...and now to have another race with the team at Spa, one of my favorite circuits. I have great memories with United there. I think we've won five times in a row… it's a hell of a record, hard to beat! »

Between 2018 and 2021, the Portuguese and United Autosports dominated the LM P2 class at Spa-Francorchamps, taking three consecutive victories in ELMS (2018-20) and two WEC victories (2020-21).
