The Falken Tire team has announced that it will continue the adventure with Porsche next year in the new North American Tudor United Sportcar Championship. For this, the Falken team will enter a 911 type 991 RSR which will be entrusted to its usual driver duo, Bryan Sellers and Porsche factory driver Wolf Henzler.
However, due to the tight timing to participate in the next 24 Hours of Daytona (January 25-26, 2014), the Porsche 991 RSR will not make its competitive debut until the 12 Hours of Sebring, in March. 2014. The Falken team was however able to preview this car last month at Petit Le Mans, a race that the team won in the GT category with a Porsche 997 RSR.
This announcement brings to three the number of Porsche 991 RSRs which will be entered, for the moment, in the LMGT category next year in USCC.
