Fernando Alonso received his new toy. The Spaniard, a pilot at Aston Martin en Formula 1, can now take the wheel of his own Valkyrie that he has customized himself. The beast, powered by a naturally aspirated V12 developing more than 1100 horsepower, has arrived safely in Monaco for its new owner, who has had fun customizing his vehicle.

Painted in Satin Aston Martin Racing Green with some lime touches, the livery is reminiscent of that of the AMR24 in Formula 1. Several details pay homage to the Bull of Asturias, including the red anodized aluminum accelerator pedal engraved with the number “14”, the number used by the double F1 world champion.

“It is difficult to express how much I have been looking forward to this day, Fernando Alonso rejoiced. Sitting behind the wheel of my own Valkyrie, a car I designed in close collaboration with the teams at 'Q by Aston Martin', is certainly a day to remember. The Valkyrie is truly an F1 car for the road, with so much knowledge and technology drawn from Aston Martin's track experience, and I can't wait to get out on the road."

Fernando Alonso will be able to thank the designer of this formidable Hypercar, who is none other than Adrian Newey… and who could soon join him at Silverstone within the British team.
