McLaren unveils special livery for Silverstone

Lando Norris et Oscar piastri will once again pilot a McLaren with strong chrome accents on the British track, as was the case two years ago. It was at Silverstone in 2023 that the Woking team began its rise to the top in earnest, with second place at the finish for the Briton, and fourth for the Australian.

Now the benchmark for the grid, McLaren has increased the proportion of chrome on its car, this silver shade becoming the majority, and associating itself with black and orange, the usual colors of the team led by Zak Brown and Andrea Stella.

Once again, the return of color also provides an opportunity for a clever marketing play on words, as McLaren has been sporting the Google Chrome logo on its engine cover for two years now. A silver version of the car also took to the track at the 2024 United States Grand Prix.
