Andrea Kimi Antonelli presents his helmet for his first season in F1

Andrea Kimi Antonelli's big debut in Formula 1 are coming! The 18-year-old Italian will be one of the sensations of this 2025 campaign, as he will compete in his first season in the premier class at Mercedes, one of the best teams on the grid. Heralded as a champion in the making, the Bologna native will immediately be in the spotlight within the German team, alongside a George Russell who finished the 2024 season strong.

A few days before the first winter tests held in Bahrain, from February 26 to 28, Andrea Kimi Antonelli unveiled the design of his first helmet as a Formula 1 driver. And to start, the Italian chose stability compared to the helmets he used in the promotional formula. Thus, we find a very colorful helmet with a blue stripe on the front, a white top of the helmet with a few stars and above all, the colors of the Italian flag on the sides with a mix of green, white and red.

This season, Andrea Kimi Antonelli will be the first Italian on the F1 grid since Antonio Giovinazzi in 2021. At the start of the Australian Grand Prix, at 18 years, 6 months and 22 days, the new Mercedes driver will become the third youngest driver in history, behind Max Verstappen et Lance stroll. FRECA champion in 2023, 6th in the last campaign in Formula 2, the young Mercedes nugget will have a lot to prove, and to show, for his first season in the premier category.
