McLaren has finally revealed the launch date for its 2026 season. The reigning drivers' and constructors' champions will unveil their new car February 9th. The last team to be confirmed, Woking will aim to defend their trophies, while the new technical regulations are expected to reshuffle the cards within the hierarchy.

By this date, all the teams of Formula 1 The drivers will have already run their cars in Barcelona, as part of the closed-door tests held from January 26 to 30 in Spain. This event will take place, however, before the continuation of pre-season testing scheduled for Bahrain (February 11-13). Further track days will be held at the same circuit a few days later, from February 18 to 20, before the season opener in Melbourne on March 8. As a reminder, the drivers will return to the Bahrain circuit a few weeks later for the fourth round of the season, held from April 10 to 12.
The first liveries for the 2026 Formula 1 season will be unveiled soon: Red Bull and Racing Bulls will kick things off on January 15th in Detroit.

So the McLaren 2026 at the end of January will likely have almost the same livery as the Audi R26 vaguely glimpsed today in Barcelona!!
