VIDEO – Albon’s big accident in Free Practice

The mechanics of Williams already have their work cut out for them. While the Australian Grand Prix weekend got off to a gentle start with Free Practice 1 this Friday, Alex Albon did not varnish his trusted men. The Briton actually made a mistake during the session, heavily damaging his FW46.

Like last year, Alex Albon missed again at the exit of turn 6 and was unable to avoid the accident. The scene was rather violent with first a big impact on the right wall before finishing its course a few dozen meters further on the opposite side of the track. If the driver was responsive and did not seem to be impaired, this is not the case for his Williams, whose mechanics will quickly have to repair for the rest of the weekend.
