Max Verstappen continues to impress in his first 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Despite light rain in the Eifel region, the four-time world champion of Formula 1 continues to lead the race at a blistering pace. The Dutchman has extended his lead. Mercedes Benz-AMG GT3 #3, which he shares with Jules Gounon, Daniel Juncadella, and Lucas Auer, is more than thirty seconds ahead of another car bearing the three-pointed star logo: the #80 of Maro Engel, Maxime Martin, Fabiam Schiller, and Luca Stolz. The two cars from the German manufacturer are in a class of their own during this 24-hour race, as their closest rivals are a lap down. The third place on the podium is occupied by theAston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo nº34 of Mattia Drudi, Felipe Fernández Laser, Christian Krognes and Nicki Thiim.
