The 26 Hours of Portimao, during which 23 racing cars from the Lamera Cup, started with very competitive qualifying sessions this Saturday morning. And the 15 best drivers were then called to the Super Pole. A delicate ten-minute exercise during which Joffrey Dorchy proved to be the most efficient.
At the wheel of the GL Elite Lamera 75, he beat Grégory Fargier (CTF Continental Racing), Pierre Couasnon (Team Lamera), Emmanuel Orgeval (L'Auto Leclerc) and Martijn Van Leeuwen (Lensdeal).
In the Pro/Am category, Eric Cayrolle took the best time (and 6th position on the grid) for CTF Xeni Terans. In the Gentlemen category, this privilege went to Kevin Lenoir with the CTF Make team.
From 14:30 p.m., the pack of competitors in the 2024 Lamera Cup will have the mission of shaking up this provisional hierarchy.
Super Pole Ranking: 1. GL Elite (Joffrey Dorchy) 1:57,596; 2. CTF Continental (Grégory Fargier) at 0,189; 3. Team Lamera (Pierre Couasnon) at 0,804; 4. L'Auto Leclerc ((Emmanuel Orgevam) at 1,225; 5. Lensdeal (Martijn Van Leeuwen) at 1,391; 6th and 1st Pro/Am CTF Xeni Trans (Eric Cayrolle) at 1,821; 11th and 1st Gentelemen (Kevin Lenoir) at 2,425
