On their Porsche In the Falken Motorsports 911 GT3 R, the Frenchman and the Belgian won after finishing second at the end of March, for the season opener. After four hours of racing, theAston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo of Christian Krognes and Mattia Drudi finished second, ahead of the BMW M4 GT3 Evo of Augusto Farfus, Jesse Krohn, Raffaele Marciello and Kelvin Van der Linde. Entered in the TCR class, Canadian Robert Wickens completed enough laps during this weekend to validate his ticket to the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, his main objective for the season. The driver, paraplegic following an accidentIndyCar in 2018 should return to the table on a Hyundai Elantra TCR from Bryan Herta Autosport.
