The 2019 Super GT champion Kenta Yamashita was the victim of a violent accident on the sidelines of private testing taking place in Suzuka (Japan) this Tuesday, January 24.
A quick statement by @ROOKIE_Racing_ about today's accident. They say that Kenta Yamashita is currently being examined at the hospital, but he's able to walk on his own and not in a serious condition.

The Rookie Racing team driver lost control of his Toyota Supra GT500 in the fast 130R curve and hit the wall head on. Kenta Yamashita got out of the wreckage under his own power but still had to be taken to hospital for a medical check-up.
