Team Penske had indeed promised a celebration of the team's sixtieth anniversary throughout the 2026 season, including several special liveries that will revisit important periods in the history of "Captain" Roger Penske's team.

This is Joey Logano, three-time champion of the NASCAR Cup Series will have the honor of kicking things off with a special livery on its #22 Ford Mustang this weekend for the fourth round of the championship, at the Phoenix oval. Its livery will be a replica of the Mustang with which Scott McLaughlin and Alexandre Prémat won the most prestigious round of the Australian Supercars calendar, the Bathurst 1000km, in 2019.

It was the perfect opportunity to pay tribute to McLaughlin and Prémat's victory, since this weekend, theIndyCarThe NASCAR Cup Series, in which the New Zealander competes, will take place on the same circuit as the NASCAR Cup Series. The open-wheel championship will be on track Saturday, followed by NASCAR on Sunday. Scott McLaughlin will therefore be able to see firsthand the car commemorating his on-track victory.

Penske will continue to pay tribute to its iconic liveries throughout the year in the various championships in which the American team competes. A new "Yellow Submarine" livery for McLaughlin at the Indianapolis 500 is expected, a race Penske has won twenty times in 109 editions – a record.
