« Toyota's DNA is very clear, highlights Sean Hanley, Toyota Australia's Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Franchise Operations. The car is instantly recognizable by its iconic shape, and it also takes inspiration from the original Supra FT1 concept. »

For track operations, Toyota has partnered with Walkinshaw Andretti United, currently partnered with Ford and its Mustang S650. A second team will be announced soon.
