WRT announces its crews for the Bathurst 12 Hours with Valentino Rossi

The Belgian team has announced the line-up of its two cars for the upcoming Bathurst 12 Hours (January 30 - February 2) with the presence of Valentino Rossi and the van der Linde brothers, who will drive together for the first time.

A year after his pole position, Sheldon van der Linde will make his return to Bathurst. The South African, who set the best time in qualifying last year, had to retire after a collision with a Ginetta GT4. A year later, the BMW driver returns to take his revenge, but changes teammates.

Brazilian Augusto Farfus replaces Dries Vanthoor, while Charles Weerts moves from the #32 BMW to the #46. Sheldon van der Linde welcomes his brother Kelvin with whom he will share the wheel for the first time. The eldest of the van der Linde siblings finished third last year at Bathurst in an Audi.

In the second BMW of the Team WRT, Charles Weerts will replace his compatriot Maxime Martin alongside Raffaele Marciello and Valentino RossiThe #4 BMW M46 will try to do better than last year, where it finished fifth.

WRT won the 12 Bathurst 2018 Hour while fielding Audi R8s. Victory went to the trio of Robin Frijns, Stuart Leonard and Dries Vanthoor.
