Lamera Cup – Milo Racing: return in 2025

Surprise in the Tuscan paddock this Saturday morning. Christophe Nivarlet, the boss of Milo Racing, appears in a fireproof suit. A few meters from his stand, Kevin Caprasse and Lorenzo Donniacuo, two of the Ardennes team's finest blades.

« I had a taste of the Lamera Cup a few years ago. ", the boss reminds. " We even left this Cup on a very good note, namely a victory in a race at Spa-Francorchamps. »

After having won the French and Belgian Fun Cup championships, Christophe Nivarlet wants to move up a gear.

« Some of the drivers in our team want to experience different sensations on a more powerful car. I think the Lamera Cup is made for them. »

This is why our interlocutor took with him in his 'luggage' his two fastest drivers: Kevin Caprasse and Lorenzo Donniacuo.

« Kevin knows the Lamera Cup well ", the boss explains to us. " He is occasionally called upon by teams who appreciate his speed and respect for mechanics. We have also called upon less experienced drivers who are keen to discover another world. The timing is perfect: the Lamera Cup has proven itself with its new four-cylinder engine. »

Three cars in 2025?

As the wise business owner that he is (Milo Racing has 19 Fun Cups in its workshop), Christophe Nivarlet wants to approach the next season in an optimal manner.

« We will take stock at the end of the weekend but we would like to arrive in the Lamera Cup with three cars entered in each category. We have quite a few top drivers who would be suitable in Elite. Others should have their chance in Pro-Am and we would be delighted to introduce this single-make cup to pure amateurs who would be entered, obviously, in Gentlemen. »

While waiting to make the decision to fully commit to the 2025 season, the five drivers who share the wheel at Milo Racing this weekend are having a blast on the 77.

« A pure treat », says Kevin Caprasse. “ This car is evolving outside the classification because it is equipped with several developments that, if they prove reliable, will be found on the Lamera in 2025. It is necessarily more efficient than the cars that make up the peloton. It is logical that we do not interfere in the classification. Especially in a meeting as important as this one where the titles in the three categories will be awarded. »
