Lausitzring, Race 2: Team Lamera makes the difference in the rain

Since we tell you that the Lamera Cup 2024 promises to be exciting! Race 2, 7 hours long this Sunday on the Lausitzring, confirmed what the 1st round, lasting 4 hours, had suggested on Saturday. Having finished 4th the day before, the crew of the 62 took the 1st step of the podium while the 1 (L'Auto Leclerc) had to settle for 2nd place. No doubt Joffrey Dorchy's incisive driving in the rain made the difference.

The son of the fastest man in Le Mans (Roger Dorchy) managed to overcome a 50-second delay then build a small capital to ensure victory in the 62nd. On the side of the L'Auto Leclerc team, we were content to appreciate the good operation in the championship in the same way as the 75 (GL L’Elite) 3rd in both races.

No luck, on the other hand, for the 80 (CTF Continental Racing). 2nd the day before, she was forced to retire after a contact, quite violent but not serious, with another competitor in the early hours of the morning.

In the Sunday event, the victory in Pro/Am went to the 70 (CTF – 2BE3) with a good 5th position in the general classification. Among the Gentlemen, it was the CTF Make team who won.

The 7 hour ranking: 1. (62) Team Lamera 178 laps; 2. (1) The Auto Leclerc with 1 turn; 3. (75) GL Elite 2 rounds; 5 and 1st in Pro/Am (70) at 4 rounds; 13 and 1st in Gentlemen (29) CTF Make at 10 laps.
