Misano – Pre-qualifying: the #25 Saintéloc sets the pace, eight Audis in the top 10

The Saintéloc n°25 is a perfect start to the weekend in Misano. After leading the free practice sessions on Friday morning, the Niederhausser-Panis duo confirmed their good pace over one lap with the best time in pre-qualifying. With a time of 1’31”694, the Audi R8 of the French team beat three other Audis in the Pro category. The No. 32 WRT of the Weerts-Vanthoor duo placed in 2nd place, 0 seconds behind Niederhausser, ahead of the two cars from the Tresor by Car Collection team.

In the top 10, we find no less than eight Audi R8s, which look very comfortable on the Italian circuit. In the Silver category, it was Mattia Di Giusto who set the best time in 1’31”970 in his #888 Lamborghini from the LP Racing team. For the Pro-Am category, you have to go down to 14th place overall to find the McLaren n°111 of the JP Motorsport team, with a time of 1’32”627 set by Patryk Krupinski.
