  • In the narrow and short circuit of Tasmania, it was above all a question of surviving this Sunday. Unlike the day before, this second race of the weekend was very hectic, with contacts coming from all sides in the peloton like the collision between rookies Jaxon Evans (Brad Jones Racing) and Aaron Love (Blanchard Racing Team), the first to finish his race in the background.

  • At the front, Cam Waters (Tickford Racing) succeeded. Quickly passed his teammate and poleman of the day Thomas Randle, the thirty-year-old then took advantage of his position to avoid the mayhem. Quite the opposite of Randle, inevitably impacted by his team's double stop which cost him some positions on the track.
  • With 11 laps to go and while attacking Broc Feeney (Triple Eight) for third place, Thomas Randle unsurprisingly did not succeed in his maneuver. By starting too far at the 4th turn hairpin, the driver of the No. 55 Mustang carried his counterpart, sending him into a spin and above all depriving him of a podium. Penalized by 15 seconds, the poleman finished 18th while his victim of the day took the checkerboard in 16th place before winning one thanks to his rival's penalty. However, this does not work for the championship. Indeed, the second position behind Cam Waters of his teammate and championship leader Will Brown made him lose ground in the championnat. Still third, Feeney is now 198 lengths behind with Chaz Mostert (Walkinshaw Andretti United) between them. Bryce Fullwood (Brad Jones Racing) completed the podium this Sunday.
