The 2025 Super GT calendar known

GTA, promoter of the SUPER GT series, has announced the 2025 calendar. There will be 8 rounds like every year, but will include a race in Malaysia for the first time since 2013.

As a racing series with FIA international status, SUPER GT is always required to include one or two races held outside Japan and there was one round in Thailand until 2019.

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has been significant, and before the pandemic, GTA was preparing to hold races in Thailand and Malaysia, but everything was back to square one.

Due to rising logistics costs and the weak yen, organizing a race abroad still remains difficult, but an agreement appears to have been reached with the promoter of the Sepang circuit.

2025 Super GT Calendar:

Round 1 – April 12-13: Okayama International Circuit
Round 2 – May 3-4: Fuji Speedway
Round 3 – June 27-28: Sepang International Circuit (Malaysia)
Round 4 – August 2-3: Fuji Speedway
Round 5 – August 23-24: Suzuka Circuit
Round 6 – September 20-21: Sportsland SUGO
Round 7 – October 18-19: Autopolis
Round 8 – November 1-2: Mobility Resort Motegi
