It was precisely on the Nordschleife that the rain fell and trapped the leaders, almost all of whom made mistakes in the same corner! We witnessed a pile-up of seven cars, forcing the race management to display the red flag. The event was restarted at 14 p.m., this time on a dry track, and with the sun appearing!
