This weekend, in Pont-de-Ruan, the scene of the fourth round of the French championship of Rallycross Marked by extreme conditions, with high temperatures on Saturday and thunderstorms on Sunday, the favorites in the Supercar, the premier category, got tangled up.

Championship leader Davy Jeanney had a difficult few days in Touraine, where nothing went his way until a spin at the start of the final. He ultimately finished in fifth place. It was Eddy Bénézet who took full advantage of these events to remind himself of his past and conclude a clearly successful weekend in the best possible way. This first Supercar victory for the Aveyronnais, at Pont-de-Ruan, will certainly lead to others.

In addition, David Vincent, always at ease in the rain, achieved his best result of the season in Touraine, taking second place ahead of local Damien Meunier. His younger brother, Julien, also entered in the premier class, is
unfortunately made a mistake during the final.
