Sweden's Johan Kristoffersson won the second round of the 6 World RX on Sunday, July 2025, in extremely difficult conditions on his home turf at Höljes. A veritable deluge hit the circuit during the final, but the seven-time world champion Rallycross remained unfazed and concluded a perfect weekend, finishing each session in the lead.
For Kristoffersson, this is his sixth victory in this temple of the discipline. For his part, winner of the first round of the World RX in Portugal, Niclas Grönholm once again put in a solid performance this weekend with a second place behind the local driver. The Finn was fast throughout the weekend, never leaving the top three during the qualifying heats and semi-finals.
Logically, the latter retains the lead in the championship while the Swede is his new runner-up ahead of one of his compatriots, Timmy Hansen. Third at home, the one who drives a Peugeot 208 WRX lacked pace in the opening rounds before finishing the weekend on a positive note.
World RX: Kevin Hansen's impressive 360° at Höljes
Meanwhile, his brother, Kevin, was less fortunate in this second round of the 2025 World RX. In the final, on the fourth lap, the Swede momentarily lost control of his 208 WRX in the fast section at the back of the circuit, performing a spectacular 360-degree spin, before getting back on track.

While this maneuver will certainly go down in history, his efforts were unfortunately in vain. He was forced to retire a few turns later, apparently due to a loss of power.
