The Spaniard had managed to reduce the gap on the previous stage and is now 25,7 seconds behind Yohan Rossel overall. Still in third place, Léo Rossel is now 5,1 seconds behind Cachón, from whom he has gained more than two seconds, after setting the provisional fastest time in the category.
