Dominant this Friday, Sébastien Ogier Saturday didn't start the same way, as he had to settle for third place in the first special stage of the day. The driver from Gap lost 1,3 seconds to Elfyn Evans and 1,2 to Solberg in the 13 kilometers of Maspalomas, which will be run again this afternoon to start the second loop.
Oliver Solberg is now less than eight seconds behind his teammate in the provisional overall standings. The overall standings saw some changes after SS9, with Elfyn Evans now in third place, ahead of Sami Pajari. The two drivers battled all day yesterday, with the Finn taking the lead by five tenths of a second at the end of the super special stage.
At Hyundai Also, the internal battle has changed its nature. Adrien fourmaux taking the lead over Dani Sordo. However, the Northerner had to settle for sixth place in the special stage, the Toyota continuing to outrageously dominate this fifth rally of the season.
