The Finn suffered a puncture at the end of the special stage. He didn't change wheels, but he still lost twenty seconds to Welshman Elfyn Evans. The latter now leads the overall standings by 37 seconds. A comfortable lead, but everything can change very quickly in the very difficult conditions of this Safari Rally 2025!
Grégoire Munster had to change his front-right wheel, following a change to the rear-right wheel after Special Stage 11. As a result, the Luxembourger no longer has a spare wheel, with SS13, the longest stage of the day, looming ahead. Josh McErlean was able to repair the steering arm that had hampered him on the previous stage, and is now finished with his Ford Puma.
In WRC2, after Kajetan Kajetanowicz's setbacks in SS11, it was the turn of the new leader Gus Greensmith to suffer a puncture. The Briton retained the lead in the rally with a three-second lead over Jan Solans.
