Kenya – SS15: Rovanperä excluded from the podium

Starting in second and third positions in the running order, Grégoire Munster and Josh McErlean allowed M-Sport Ford to achieve a double on this fifteenth timed section. Elfyn Evans managed at the wheel of his Toyota Yaris, and he can do so even more so as he now has a 2'50 lead over his closest pursuer, Ott TänakThe Estonian gained 33 seconds from Katsuta, who suffered a puncture, but who climbed onto the provisional podium with a lead of four tenths of a second over Kalle Rovanperä. The Finn is likely to suffer even more in the final stage. This SS8 was 15 km long, whereas the last stage of the day will be 17,31 km long.

Fourth in the special behind Sami Pajari, Thierry Neuville also suffered a puncture in this special stage, which was less affected by the elements than the second run through Sleeping Warrior. This had the effect of highlighting even more the rough nature of the Kenyan tracks, which certainly did not fail to live up to their reputation this weekend. Start of SS16 at 15:03 p.m., to know the verdict of this Saturday.
